1. Brief Description
    The single-phase transformer has been used a lot as distribution transformer in western developed countries, Southeast Asia and North and South Americas. In the distribution network of decentralized power supply, the single-phase transformer has large advantages as distribution transformer, such as reducing the length of low-voltage distribution line and the line loss and improving the power supply quality. The transformer is designed with high-efficiency and energy-saving wound core structure, featuring pole-type suspension installation, small volume, small capital investment, shorter low-voltage power supply radius, and over 69% reduction in low-voltage line loss. With a fully sealed structure, the transformer has strong overload capability and high reliability in continuous operation and is simple for maintenance. 
2. Application Scope
    This transformer is applicable to rural power grids, and agricultural production, lighting and motor electricity of remote mountain areas and scattered villages, as well as the pole-type distribution lines of energy-saving reconstruction of railway and urban power grids. Either single-phase operation or three-phase operation of three units of single phase is allowed.

6. Features
    The single-phase distribution transformer contains common type and fully self-holding type. 
Standard configuration of common type 
    The oil tank of transformer adopts cylindrical sealing structure, and each transformer is provided with the grounding device, hook, American Standard installation hanger plate and pressure relief valve. One (or two) high-voltage bushing is led out from the tank cover, and the low-voltage bushing is led out from the tank wall, both of which are provided with the eye bolt type connection terminal. The high-voltage tapping switch should be regulated when the power supply is turned off, and be connected according to the regulation position indicated on nameplate. 
Standard configuration of fully self-holding type
    The fully self-holding transformer may play a role of self-protection against lightning, short circuit and overload. Moreover, the self-protection system may protect the power transmission and distribution lines from causing power failure owing to the failure with the transformer. In addition to the cylindrical oil tank, the hook outside the tank, installation hanger plate, grounding device, nameplate, grade-I core and winding structure, which are the same as those of common type transformer, the fully self-holding type transformer also possesses the following features and devices:
    One (or two) high-voltage bushing is led out from tank cover, with a current limiting fuse hidden in the bushing. 
    One (or two) lightning arrester is installed on the tank wall, with the end close to the leading-out terminal of high-voltage bushing and connected with the copper strip. One secondary circuit breaker is installed in the tank, and the outside-the-tank operating handle, overload reset and signal lamp are installed on the tank wall. The low-voltage bushing is led out from the tank wall, X2 is installed with a grounding device, and one end of single bushing is led out through the high-voltage bushing and the other end is grounded.
