1. Brief Description
Along with the depletion of global petrochemical energy and the increase of people’s environmental awareness, recently the PV-cored solar power generation develops rapidly. The photovoltaic transformer is a resin-cast axial double-split dry-type transformer. The high voltage adopts delta connection, and two groups of low voltage are respectively connected into a star shape and lead out the neutral point for the system to be grounded. The difference of such structure from ordinary transformer is among its low-voltage windings, two windings are split into the branches of equal rated capacity. There is only weak magnetic contact but no electrical contact between these two branches, and there is big impedance among each branch.

1. Owing to the unique high-voltage winding parallel structure and low-voltage axial split structure, the coupling effect of coil is weak and the magnetomotion force distribution of high and low voltage in axial direction is uniform, thus effectively limiting the short-circuit current and ensuring the safety of electric power system.
2. The coil is resin-cast, with good overall mechanical strength, thus improving the ability of the transformer to withstand the short circuit.
3. With very good humidity resistance and corrosion resistance, the product is especially suitable to work in extremely harsh environment, and may be put into operation again without drying after stopping operation.
